Berkoff in The Bells, London, UK
Steven Berkoff will play the role of Mathias in Leopold Lewis' play The Bells. This is a charity rehearsed reading for Theatrecares and it marks the centenary of Henry Irving's death. The director is Roy Marsden, the rest of the cast are Daniella Denby-Ashe, Matthew Kelly, Cherie Lungi, Derren Nesbitt, Ronald Pickup, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Ron Moody as the mesmerist. Not written or directed by Berkoff, but he gives support to the production. Written by Mark Jenkins, directed by Josh Richards and starring Christian McKay.
