If you have read or seen a Sarah Kane play, or have heard about her, here are some tips on what to do next.

Reading plays

The five Kane plays are available in print either individually or in the collected edition. There are also translations available in many languages. Libraries may have copies.

Blasted, Crave and 4.48 Psychosis are typically the plays people start with. Each is very different, and it may be a shock moving from one to another (Crave to Blasted, Blasted to Crave), but it is worth it.

If you are not sure which one to read, look at the links or the message board to get a feel for which one will appeal most to you.
